The 2018 Veyron has an 8.0-liter four-cylinder engine-turbo W16, which equates to two narrow-angle V8 screwed. Each cylinder has four valves for a total of 64, but the configuration of each bank VR8 allows two camshafts to drive two sets of head cylinders so that only four camshafts are needed. The Bugatti Veyron 2018 model’s engine is powered by four turbochargers and displaces 7.993 cubic centimeters (487.8 cubic inches), with a diameter of 86 86 mm (3.39 3.39 inches) in diameter and stroke.

The gearbox is a seven-speed direct-controlled, seven-speed computer with magnesium blades behind the wheel and a switching time of fewer than 150 milliseconds built by Ricardo England instead of Borg-Warner. He designed the six-speed DSG used in the major brands of the Volkswagen Group. The Bugatti Veyron 2018 model can be driven in semi-automatic or fully automatic mode.
