The Audi A5 is the stylish coupe companion for Audi A4 compact luxury sedan. Also available for defined benefit Audi S5 and Audi RS5 models and drop-top Audi A5 Cabriolet form, its strengths include chic interiors consisting handling and the Four Seasons ability quattro all-wheel drive. The Audi A5 is a single engine: a turbocharged and direct-injected 2.0-liter turbo with 220 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. Combined with a standard six-speed manual gearbox, the engine is 22 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway while helping the car to accelerate from zero-to-60 mph in 6.4 seconds. An optional eight-speed automatic shaves 0.2 second off the sprint but reduced mileage to 20/30 mpg. All-wheel drive is standard across the board. The A5 provides responsive handling thanks to an engine placement behind the front wheels, resulting in better weight distribution than any existing Audi (apart from the mid-engine Audi R8).

The Audi A5 can be had in Premium, Premium Plus and Prestige trim levels. The Premium trim comes standard with leather upholstery, a panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, a ten-speaker AM / FM / CD / SiriusXM sound system, heated headlamp washers, LED turn signals, fog lights, Bluetooth connectivity, a HomeLink garage door opener, Audi music interface and a driver information system. Three-zone climate control, xenon plus headlights and LED taillights are refurbished.

The Audi A5 Premium Plus model adds heated front seats, memory function for the front seats, LED taillights, a power liftgate, three zome climate control and power-folding exterior mirrors. The S-Line exterior appearance is new treatment standard. The top-spec Prestige trim brings a navigation system with the Audi Connect above, a 14-speaker, 505 watt Bang & Olufsen sound system with HD Radio technology, a rearview camera parking aid, Audi side assist, keyless start and a color driver information system. Highlights from the options list are sports seats, adaptive cruise control, steering wheel-mounted shift paddles and Audi Drive Select, which offers a variety of different chassis, steering, transmission and engine calibrations. A Black Optic package includes black exterior touches and 19-inch titanium-rotor design wheels.

All Audi A5 models come standard with dual front, front side, front knee airbags and head in addition to traction and stability control systems and a tire pressure monitoring system. New optional on Premium trim models, the Audi A5 side assist, blind spots, and quickly approaching vehicles is monitored.
