The Chrysler Group LLC is an American automobile manufacturer headquartered in Auburn Hills, Michigan, and owned by the Italian car manufacturer Fiat. Chrysler was one of the “Big Three” American automakers. It sells vehicles worldwide under its flagship brand Chrysler and Dodge, Jeep and Ram. Other major divisions include Mopar their automotive parts and accessories and SRT division, its performance automotive division. Chrysler History

The company was founded by Walter Chrysler Chrysler (1875-1940) on 6 June 1925, when the Maxwell Motor Company was in the Chrysler Corporation reorganized.
