2013 BMW 5 Series – The BMW M5 is a high performance version of BMW 5 Series Car Executive of the Motorsport division of BMW built. First presented at the Motor Show in Amsterdam in 1984, the first incarnation of the M5-hand with the 535i chassis and an upgraded engine BMW M1 was built with the fastest sedan in the world at the time of their introduction. Subsequent iterations of the M5 was built from the platform of each generation 5-series, including E34, E39, E60/E61, and more recently, F10, with the first orders for delivery to the end of 2011.
Because of the longevity of your drive and unchallenged at the top of the range of average size BMW, the M5 is one of the most popular sports sedans, in spite of competition from Mercedes-AMG and Audi quattro GmbH, the M5 in 1980, preceded by the M535i, is the third track, the car in the studio of BMW Motorsport leave. While the BMW 3.0 CSL and M1 was limited, the production, purpose-built sports car, the M535i is a BMW 5 Series sedan with a redesigned engine M30B35.
The first BMW M5 E28 is based on the 5 Series debuted at the Geneva Motor Show in Amsterdam in February 1984. He was the product of the demand for a car with cargo capacity of a sedan, but the overall performance of a sports car. We used the 535i chassis and an evolution of the BMW M1 engine. For the launch of the E28 M5 is the fastest sedan in the world.
The first generation M5 was built in hand-Preußenstraße / Munich before the holidays was the 1986 Motorsport factory. The S38 B35 was used in the E28 M5 and E24 M6 NA Spec. Final versions of catalyst production are equipped with European M635CSi also equipped with the S38 B35. First, was made 500 for the American market, BMW later increased production to a maximum of 1,370 units for U.S. and Canadian markets, but the generally accepted number sold 1244 units.
2013 BMW 5 Series americans are the only specification models, which, technically finished, all in black with the interiors of nature. Canadian M5 otherwise virtually identical specifications were also available with a black interior as an option, but using a limited number of U.S. models equipped with black interior.
