The 2014 Acura TL is a midsize sport sedan, size, and between traditional entry-level and mid-size luxury sedan is priced segments. As such, it competes against a number of models, but is most likely with the Audi A4, Hyundai Genesis, Lexus ES, Lincoln MKZ, Infiniti Q50 and Mercedes-Benz C-Class is aligned. 2014 Acura TL Features
The base and the 2014 Acura TL SH-AWD can be further upgraded with a technology package and Advance package. The technology package includes premium leather seats, a navigation system, the AcuraLink real-time traffic and weather reports, rearview camera, premium audio system, keyless entry with push button start, solar-sensing and GPS-linked air conditioning, and a rear spoiler. The Advance Package includes heated and ventilated front seats and a blind-spot information system.
2014 Acura TL Engine
The 3.5-liter V6 engine in the 2014 Acura TL and v Special Edition installed to 280 horsepower to generate delivered the front wheels of the vehicle through a 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters and Grade Logic Control. The more powerful 2014 Acura TL SH-AWD has a 305-hp, 3.7-liter V6 engine and Acura torque vectoring Super Handling All-Wheel Drive system that can deliver up to 80% of engine power to one of the rear wheels, depending on driving conditions. This drive contains the same above 6-speed automatic transmission and a 6-speed manual transmission is optional for the TL SH-AWD with Technology Package.
Both of the 2014 Acura TL model engines require premium fuel. The standard is 3.5-liter V-6 is EPA-rated back to 20 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway, while fuel economy estimates of the TL SH-AWD model are 18 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway. 2014 Acura TL Safety
Was in crash tests by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) conducted of the 2014 TL received an overall rating of 4 stars (out of 5 stars).
