The Aston Martin Vanquish is a grand touring, which was introduced in 2001 as the successor to the aging Toned range. The first generation of the Aston Martin V12 Vanquish, designed by tIan Callum and Dilip Chhabria, was unveiled at Geneva Motor Show in 2001 and was produced from 2001 to 2005. Aston Martin presented the official James Bond car in Die Another Day movie. The Aston Martin Vanquish S was unveiled in 2004 with a more powerful engine and improved aerodynamics. The Aston Martin Vanquish S V12 Vanquish and were replaced by the Aston Martin DBS in 2007. In 2012, the name was revived Vanquish for the successor of the Aston Martin DBS.
Aston Martin Vanquish First Generation (2001-2007)
The Aston Martin V12 Vanquish was designed by Ian Callum and bore a strong resemblance to the production Aston Martin DB7 Vantage. The Aston Martin Vanquish S debuted at the Paris Motor Show 2004, with more power and performance and styling revisions light. Engine capacity 5935 cc remained (5.9 L, 362.2 cubic inches) with a magnifying power of 450-520 horsepower (340 to 390 kW). Visual changes include new wheels, a slightly different shape of the nose, a new trunk raised trunk spoiler largest integrated CHMSL high integration level, a flagship Vanquish S tailgate and the addition of a small front splitter. Aston Martin Vanquish Second Generation (2012)
Aston Martin unveiled the Concept project AM310 Concorso d’Eleganza 2012 Villa d’Este on Lake Como, Italy. Aston Martin announced later that the concept was put into production as the new Aston Martin Vanquish. The exterior design of the Vanquish is an evolution of the DBS with many elements of style as elongated side gills are inspired by the One-77. The trunk lid has an integrated rear spoiler designed to look like it is impossible to do, this was done by order of Aston Martin CEO Dr. Ulrich Bez. The car has a skirt exposed carbon fiber carbon fiber showing its whole body. The Vanquish uses the new 4th generation VH chassis is lighter and consumes more carbon fiber generation 2 VH used in Aston Martin DBS.
The Aston Martin Vanquish has a new interior based on that found in the exclusive Aston Martin One-77. The standard interior is trimmed in leather and alcantara hand stitched available in a range of colors. The center console has an infotainment system improved compared with that found in the DBS. The car is available as a 2 seater or 2 + 2.
The Aston Martin Vanquish uses an enhanced version of the V12 AM11 flagship Aston Martin with a power of 573 hp (421 kW, 565 hp) at 6,750 rpm and a torque of 620 N·m (457 pounds · ft) at 5500 rpm. Like most Aston Martins, the engine is mounted in the middle before the power goes to the rear wheels. System uses a stainless steel exhaust catalyzed fully active bypass valves. The Vanquish uses February 1 automatic gearbox six-speed Touchtronic updated. This is the first Aston Martin available with launch control. Combined space cabin and a shoe, in 368 liters is more than 60% greater than that of the DBS.
