The 2014 Buick Regal gets a lot of exciting updates for the new model year, including a new turbo engine, styling updates and a redesigned center console. On the outside of the grille has been slightly retouched and modified rear lights, LED now inwards into the trunk lid. The 17-inch wheels are standard, while the higher trim levels offer 18, 19 or even 20-inch wheels also available. HID xenon headlights and LED daytime running lights are optional. The sporty GS trim has its own set of unique visual cues, with a lowered suspension, vertical air intakes and a rear deck-lid spoiler.
2014 Buick Regal Engine
The 2014 Buick Regal offers two different drive options. A standard is a mild-hybrid system, the Buick as “easiest” that combines an electric motor and a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine. It produces 182 HP and comes total with a six-speed automatic transmission. Turbo and GS trims both got a new engine this year, a 259-horsepower turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder that makes a robust 295 pounds-feet of torque. A six-speed automatic transmission is also standard, but the GS offers a six-speed manual transmission as well. Models with the easiest Powertrain returns the best fuel economy 25/36 mpg city/highway. These figures, the decision for the turbo engine drops to 21/30 mpg city/highway.
2014 Buick Regal Interior
The shelf in the center console has been redesigned for 2014 and simplified its key scheme and provides an intuitive user interface, which is an estimated change. Standard features include power and heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, an auto-dimming mirror, the Bluetooth connectivity, and HD Radio. A convenient 120-volt outlet is optional for charging laptops and other devices. A 2014 Buick Regal Intellilink infotainment system with an 8-inch color touch screen comes standard with a navigation system are also available.
2014 Buick Regal Safety
