2018 Chevrolet Colorado is a mid-size pickup truck marketed by the US automaker General Motors, was introduced in 2004 to replace the compact GMC Sonoma pickups. 2018 Colorado and its twins, GMC Canyon were designed jointly by GM operations in North America, GM operations in Brazil and Isuzu. Isuzu, which participated in the design process, began selling its own worldwide version in 2002. At the end of 2005, Isuzu offered a North American version called Isuzu i-Series. North American Isuzu model shared North American powertrains, style and team with the Colorado / Canyon twins and differs from Isuzu’s global offering. All versions of Chevrolet, GMC, and Isuzu in the world are based on GMT355, which is the basis of Hummer H3 based on the GMT 345. Most vehicles for markets outside of North America are manufactured in one GM plant in Rayong, Thailand, and a GM plant in São José dos Campos, Brazil. The majority of vehicles in the North American market were manufactured in Shreveport, Louisiana.
