2018 Toyota Camry

2018 Toyota Camry is one of best choices for a medium-sized sedan. The 2018 Camry’s four-cylinder engine is not the smoothest sounding engine, but it gives a rewarding 34 mpg in combined city or highway drives, offering a good amount of punch at the top point when you need maneuvers to fuse. The 2018 Camry also boasts a surprising amount of passenger and cargo spaces, many standard safety features and top safety scores. On the downside, Toyota’s infotainment system is not the easiest to use, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration are not offered.

The 2018 Toyota Camry is a solid all-around choice. But depending on your preferences, there may be a competitor that suits you better. Take the following popular seller, the redesigned 2018 Honda Accord. 2018 Toyota Camry 2018 offers two excellent turbocharged engine options and even rims from the Camry inland. Those who experience a more enjoyable driving experience must check the updated 2018 Mazda 6. It also offers an excellent turbo engine and a premium interior design. Of the three, the Camry still benefits the fuel economy, so it depends on what you value most.

There are also versions of the 2018 Camry XLE and 2018 Camry XSE which are more expensive, but with a stronger 3.5-liter V6 engine. The base L sets the floor for the base price but will not be general due to the relative lack of equipment. We expect most buyers to start with the LE and SE models, featuring more 17-inch wheels, a power-adjustable driver’s seat and 60/40-split rear seat belts. Top Camry interfaces add more luxurious items such as double-sided automatic climate control, leather upholstery, a head-up display, keyless ignition, additional USB ports, a larger 8-inch touchscreen and a premium audio system.

2018 Toyota Camry Equipment

Toyota equips every 2018 Camry model with a rear-view camera, keyless access, a 7-inch touchscreen interface, one USB port, Bluetooth and a six-speaker audio system. Higher trim models like the XLE and XSE receive additional USB ports, a larger 8-inch touchscreen, a premium JBL audio system and Qi wireless smartphone charging. There is no stand-alone navigation option for four-cylinder motors.

Instead, Toyota’s Entune Infotainment offers a smartphone interface to manage the Scout GPS Link program along with other programs, including Pandora, Yelp, and other services for fuel prices, traffic, weather, and so forth. The layout of the audio system is simple and effective, with thick, marked buttons and a clear display even in direct sun. We are disappointed that Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are not available. The user must connect via Bluetooth and then connect a string that connects Entune to gain access to most features. Entune is slow to connect.

2018 Toyota Camry Safety

The Toyota Camry achieved an upper five-star rating in the government’s overall accident prevention test, which played five stars across the board for the pre-impact and collision. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) also called the Camry a Top Safety Pick+. In the IIHS tests, the Camry earned a top score of Good in the organization’s small and moderate overlap pre-impact tests. It also achieved a good score on the side impact, roof strength and head restraints and seating tests, as well as a top priority for impacting mitigating technology performance.
