The 2020 Acura NSX is a good luxury sports car, quote sums-up the blend of power, speed, and refinement that you will find in this supercar. It is a pleasure to drive, whether your journeys take you through the city, the countryside or around the racetrack. The Acura NSX 2020 is fast and responsive, and its performance adapts to all levels of controllers, while this supercar is comfortable, it is in the bottom half of our luxury sports car ranking because it is not as fierce or opulent as some of its direct rivals. The 2020 NSX can stand alone on a race track, but it lacks the ferocity that is achieved with the Audi R8 with a V10 engine. Another high-performance sports car that deserves to be considered is the Chevrolet Corvette.
The Acura NSX can shine like the sun with the optional new Indy Yellow Pearl paint. Beyond this addition, Acura has not made any major changes to this car by 2020. The current generation of the NSX has started with its reintroduction for the 2017 model year. The 2019 NSX has received updates important driving, but otherwise, this car has changed little in recent years.
2020 Acura NSX Features
The technology within the NSX does not have the cutting edge appeal that you would find in an Audi or Mercedes. Here, the infotainment system seems dated. It also requires more attention from the driver. Touch settings and multiple menu layers make selection quick and eyeless difficult. Fortunately, smartphone integration is easy, thanks to the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto standards. Additional standard features include a 7-inch touchscreen, navigation, and premium ELS Studio audio system. Satellite radio is one of the few options available.
2020 Acura NSX Interior
There is room for two people inside this two-door coupe. The seats are comfortable and, although the car is close to the ground, it is fairly easy to get on and off. The spacious cabin can accommodate even larger travelers and visibility is good for a sports car. Like most two-seater vehicles, the NSX does not have LATCH connectors. It does not recommend installing a car seat in the front seat of a vehicle. Sports cars that have a rear seat to secure child safety seats include the Porsche 911, Nissan GT-R and Honda Civic Type R.
The Sophisticated style is emphasized in the Acura NSX. The range of quality materials ranges from standard aluminum sports pedals to optional perforated leather seats and the Alcantara interior roof. For some critics, the sampling of containers of cheap Hondas and Acuras parts is hard to ignore, a weakness that is amplified by the limited selection of opulent updates. The 4.4 cubic foot trunk provides enough space for a set of golf clubs or a pair of weekend suitcases. Its proximity to the V6 engine means the area is getting hot, so don’t store any heat-sensitive items here.
2020 Acura NSX Engine
The 2020 Acura NSX is only available as a two-seat, two-door coupe in a single performance specification. Power comes from a combination of a 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 engine and electric motors with 573 horsepower and 476 lb-ft of torque. The V6 powers only the rear wheels and each front wheel has its own electric motor. This configuration allows the computers onboard the car to carefully speed up or slow down each wheel to keep the NSX running while driving at high performance. A third electric motor is associated with the V6 motor in a common hybrid electric form, adding torque at low speed and allowing very soft engine starts.
2020 Acura NSX GT3 Safety
The standard advanced safety features of Acura include emergency brake assist, rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlights, reversing and rear parking sensors, and a multi-angle reversing camera with dynamic directions. Options such as adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and head-on collision warning are not available. Neither the Road Safety Insurance Institute nor the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has tested the 2020 Acura NSX GT3m this common for high-end luxury vehicles.
